TERMS OF USE

These terms are an agreement between you and Rurik Bjornsson ("we", "us") for using the Player Two Fitness Challenge app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Health first

Player Two Fitness Challenge is a game, not medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or haven't exercised in a while. Stop and get help if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath. Points are estimates for fun and fair play, not a measure of your health.

1. Who can use the app

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should review them with you.

2. Your account

Use your real name or a name your fellow players will recognize, and keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

3. Challenges and prizes

Challenge prizes are agreed between players. We don't provide, hold, guarantee or enforce any prize, and we aren't part of any arrangement between players. Don't use the app for betting or wagering money where that's against the law.

The person who creates a challenge sets its rules before it starts. Once it starts, the rules and scoring are locked for that challenge. The creator can delete a challenge, which removes it for every player.

4. Play fair

Log workouts you actually did, as accurately as you can. Don't:

  • log made-up or exaggerated workouts, or try to manipulate scores;
  • harass, threaten or impersonate other players;
  • post anything illegal, hateful or sexually explicit in names, challenge titles or workout notes;
  • try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with how the app works;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app.

5. Your content

You own what you put in the app, like your workouts, challenge names and notes. You give us permission to store, process and show it to the players you share challenges with, only so we can run the app.

6. Beta and changes to the app

The app is still being built. Beta versions may have bugs, and features may change, be added or be removed. We may update scoring for new challenges, but we won't change the rules of a challenge that has already started.

The app is free right now. If we add paid features later, we'll show the price clearly before you're charged, and paid purchases will be handled through the App Store or Google Play.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put other players at risk. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first.

8. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or that points and imported health data will be accurate. You use the app and do any exercise at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost data, injuries from exercise, or disputes between players, including over prizes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. App stores

If you got the app from the Apple App Store, TestFlight or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google aren't responsible for the app or its support. These terms are between you and us.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you live in a country with consumer protection laws that give you more rights, those rights still apply.

12. Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept them. Questions? Email rurikbjornsson@gmail.com.
